Understand the PROBLEM. (SIN)

Romans 3:23 (NLT) For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

Romans 6:23a (NLT) For the wages of sin is death…



What does this mean for you?

Everyone has sinned.

Sin separates you from God.

The result of sin is physical and spiritual death.

Recognize the SOLUTION. (JESUS)

Romans 5:8 (NLT) But God showed his great love for us by sending

 Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

John 14:6 (NLT) Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.

No one can come to the Father except through me.”



What does this mean for you?

Jesus died for you when you were his enemy.

Jesus never sinned and his death paid your sin debt.

Jesus is not A way to God…He is THE only way to God.

Make the DECISION. (REPENT)

Luke 13:3 (NLT) And you will perish too unless you repent of your sins and turn to God.

Romans 10:13 (NLT) For “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”



What does this mean for you?

You must turn away from sin and yourself.

You must turn to Christ alone for salvation.

You can receive salvation if you sincerely ask Christ for it (pray).

Dear Jesus,

I admit I am a sinner, and

I’m asking for Your forgiveness.

I believe You died for my sins and

you rose from the dead.

I am turning from my sins and

self and I turn to You alone.

I’m letting go and

inviting you into my heart and life.

I want to trust and follow

You as my Lord and Savior forever.
